150th Bookmark

SIL 150th Anniversary BookmarkThe Libraries is distributing bookmarks to celebrate the 150th anniversary year. Printed on acid-free lightweight paper, the bookmark carries a "bright idea" image from the 1883 The Edison System of Incandescent Lighting, one of the 300,000 pieces in the Libraries' collection of trade catalogs. These souvenirs are available at the circulation desks of all 18 branch libraries and are being distributed throughout 1996 with each piece of interlibrary loan material sent from the Libraries.
