 Thomas
Garnett is the Assistant Director for Digital Library and Information
Systems. The Digital Library and Information Systems Division is comprised
of the New Media Office and the Systems Office. The New Media Office
is responsible for digital collections creation and archiving, and
advancing the Libraries' Internet presence. The System Office supports
the Libraries'staff in their use of information technology and manages
the Libraries' use of the integrated library system, the Smithsonian
Institution Research Information System.
