SIRIS Support

For a full description of SIRIS support see Services. The Systems Office is responsible for the implementation and support of SIRIS systems at SIL. For help with problems, please call the SIL Systems Office at 202.633.1719 or e-mail libhelp@si.edu.

ILL Manager and Ariel

For ILLManager account support, please contact Claire Catron 633-1241 in the ILL Office.  For Ariel support, please contact Alvin Hutchinson.

GroupWise e-mail Support

OCIO provides GroupWise support for SIL.  If you are having problems with GroupWise, please call the OCIO Helpdesk 633-4000, or put in a HEAT self-service ticket that thoroughly describes the problems you are having.  Helpful GroupWise tips, and the User's Guide for Groupwise 6 are available on Prism on the OCIO Customer Service Page

 Desktop and Network Support - Hardware & Software

OCIO provides Desktop and Network support for SIL.  If you are having problems with your pc or network connections to the file server or the internet, please call the OCIO Helpdesk 633-4000 and choose Option #1, or put in a HEAT self-service ticket that thoroughly describes the problems you are having. 

If you have a question about using any of the MS Office suite of programs, please call the Helpdesk, and choose Option #2 for software support.  OCIO has a number of helpful tips and user guides on their Customer Service Page.
