Comments
and Notes:
ISTC uses author form: Serapion, Johannes, the Elder.
The Practica (i.e., Breviarium medicinae) of Serapion the Elder has been erroneously attributed to Serapion the Younger on leaf a2 recto.
The Breviarium medicinae was translated from the Arabic by Gherardo da Cremona; the Liber aggregatus in medicinis simplicibus of Serapion the Younger was translated from the Arabic by Simon Genuensis and Shem Tov ben Abraham Ibn Gaon.
Imprint from colophon (leaf [rum]9 verso).
Signatures: a-k8 l10 m-v8 x6 y10 z8 [et]8 [con]8 [rum]10.
Leaves printed on both sides; 66 lines per page.

Errors in foliation: Leaves 178 and 194 are misnumbered as 176 and 187, respectively.
