Comments and Notes: A pharmacopoeia, compiled mainly from the works of Arabic medical writers. Incipit (leaf a2 recto) reads: Ioha[n]nis Iacobi de Manlijs de Boscho Alexa[n]drini sup[er] descriptiones antidotarij [et] practice diui Ioha[n]nis Mesue [et] aliorum illustrium medicorum clarissima interpretatio incipit, dicta Luminare maius. Imprint from colophon (leaf k5 verso), which reads: Opus diligenter correctum [et] a multis doctorib[us] examinatum impressum in inclita ciuitate Uenetiarum per Bonetum Locatellum, mandato [et] expensis nobilis uiri d[omi]ni Octauiani Scoti ciuis Modoetie[n]sis anno saluatoris nostri 1496, die 28 Maij ad laudem omnipotentis dei [et] eius intemerate Virginis. Rubricated t.p. Some ms. annotations. Anonymously prepared typed description of this edition ([4] p.) has been tipped in on front free endpaper. Modern binding of half-cloth over brown paste-paper boards; title stamped on spine.
