Using the Library
Library hours may vary. When planning a visit, be sure to call ahead to confirm that they will be open. HoursThe NMNH main library is open from 8:45am to 5:15 PM Monday through Friday.The library is closed on all federal holidays. Telephone 202-633-1680 Fax Number 202-357-1896 Within the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) there are also library collections located in various departments including Minerals, Vertebrate Paleontology, Entomology, Mollusks, Worms/Echinoderms/Coelenterates, Copepods, Crustacea, Amphibians and Reptiles, Fish, Birds, and Mammals.
